  1. i like the title effects you've used and there is a variety of camera angles, I also like the nightshot effect you've used in the camera.
The actress played her part well and stayed in character well. I felt a lot of tension was building and definitely made me curious as to what was going to happen.
The only criticism is that i felt the suspense went on and i didn't see a glimpse of the murderer/killer
other than that i think it would make a great thriller/mystery :)

  2. I like your opening. I think it carries tension well through the the piece because of the clips being quiet. I like the shots you used and this made it seem like chase scene. A couple of criticisms I have are:
That some of the shots are in the dark so you can't see much.
I also think that you should shown the killer before because I didn't really know what was going on.

  3. I really like the green effect you used as it creates and abnormal situation. I like the way you have kept the footsteps in there and its good how you didn't have to add them in because they was loud enough to just use. The music gives me the impression something not going to go right and by the end of the sequence i was proved right! Brilliant piece of work, really enjoyed watching it! :-)

  4. i liked the fade out shot from a car light wich then faded into the back of the woman's head. I also like that you can hear the heels of the actor's shoes because it makes the film more realistic to the audoence. I also thought the background music timed well with the title shots and the film shots. Another comment i would like to make is i love that there is no speech so it makes the film more mysterious.

Something i thought lara could improve upon was the lighting because i couldnt really, at times, capture the actor.

    But Overall Well Done! :)

  5. The titles are really good as they almost move along with the camera,
when you are following the girl down the street when she is running its like you (the viewer) are the person chasing her.
when the car pulls up and it cuts to the shot of the girl it s almost as if the car moves into the girl which gives it a good effect and when she starts running the tension begins to build, the last shot where it is the phone just hanging keeps us on the edge of our seat wanting to see what happens to her.

    Good Job :)

  6. I really like at the beginning how as the title comes in the music begins which makes the tension.
i also like the effect you used of night vision i can see everything that is going on and it creates a very eerie atmosphere.
I like the different shots you used from long shots to her going into the phone box like a medium close up and then the pan it worked very well.

the only criticism i have is i didn't really understand why she began running i think you needed to show just a few glimpses of a dark figure.

other than that it is a really good opening sequence i enjoyed it.

  7. I really like the music used throughout as i think that this builds up a lot of tension and helps to create a scary atmosphere. I like the night vision effect used on the camera as it creates a very gloomy effect. I like the way that it seems as if you are the person running after the person as the camera is unsteady making it look realistic. I think that the different angles used are effective such as close ups and framings, as you are then able to see the persons facial expressions as well as her surroundings. I also think that the ending works well to create a cliff hanger as you are not to sure what's going to happen next so it makes you want to carry on watching it.
The only criticism i can say is that maybe at some points it was a little too dark so you couldn't see too clearly what's going on.
However overall i think that this is a strong opening sequence and works well to create a scary atmosphere.

  8. A really good opening, I thought you used a good choice of the sound as it was different to music and went well with the particular storyline and the sound of the footsteps. Good use of shots however one of the shots from behind, where you were using the 'night vision' you could see the light reflecting on to the female actors back and it was a little distracting. but overall good job, I really liked it especially the acting towards the very end.
