9 KEY FRAMES

The title of the film
The title of my film is shown in the last screen shot. My film was called Obsession. I decided to have the background black and then the writing in a glowing blue to make it stand out the page. In most thrillers they have plain titles to make the statement that its very bold. When you think of Obsession you associate it with fascination, mania and passion therefore I thought my font and colour of it represented it.

Setting/ Location
The setting is shown in the second shot. I filmed all of my film in the same place. It was a quiet village called farningham. I filmed it late at night to create the suspense and tension that I needed. I choose this setting and location because there was a phonebox which was a keypoint of my sequence.

Costumes and props
I didnt use any inparticular props. I asked my main character to wear a long mac and boots. The only other prop that I also used was a handbag for the main character.

Camerawork and Editing
For the camerawork all I used was a small camcorder. I used a lot of following shots in my film. This was to create the effect that the viewer is the person pursuing the woman. I also used Long shots of her whole body to show her running through the streets trying to get away. To edit my film I used Premier pro. I had to cut some of the footage out that i had because it would have been too much and also it flows better when its more short.

Title font and style
For my title I decided to use quite a bold but simple font and I chose to have it in a neon blue colour. I done this because I think it makes it stand out. I chose the blue because I think it makes it more mysterious, whereas if I had a red I think it would look more like a murder than a kidnapping story-line.
